Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Stitches by Walter, LLC we go to great lengths to make sure that all the orders are filled accurately and done with the highest quality. We are however human and mistakes happen. We feel it is how we handle mistakes that will earn your trust and keep you as a customer.  

To qualify, you must send an email to returns@stitchesbywalter.com within 3 business days from the receipt of your order to receive approval for the return.

 

For your protection, we suggest all returns be sent back by a traceable carrier. The customer must pay all costs related to return shipping. After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, we will reimburse your account for the purchase price of the item.

 

REQUESTING A RETURNS 

When making a return, the request should be made within 3 business days of receipt of order. 

CANCELLATIONS 

 

Cancellations on orders after 3 days will be charged a 20% restocking fee on the entire order. There are no refunds of any kind on set up fees once the design is created. Designs created and not used are charged a $20.00 fee. 

REASONS FOR RETURN

 

Due to the personalized nature of our work, we will only replace defective items or refund payment for an order that you are not completely satisfied with if one or more of the following occur:

•    The embroidery quality is not of a commercially acceptable level and it must be agreed upon both parties after 

      communication of concerns has occurred. 

•    The design your received on your products is significantly different from the final proof you approved by txt, email or in

      person prior to us embroidering your order. PROOFS PROVIDED PER CUSTOMER REQUEST. 

•    Thread colors may vary slightly from a digital presentation. We do our best to provide you with the closest colors to match

      your design. We try to provide a digital proof that is the closest representation of the color to be used. That said, we do not 

      guarantee 100% the thread color will match your original design. 

•    Garment sizing can vary from manufacturers. If you need information on sizes for a particular garment, feel free to request

      that information before ordering. Many of our garments are available in men’s, women’s and youth sizes. Please make sure                       you are clear on the size you are ordering.

 

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PURCHASE OF INCORRECT SIZE, STYLE OR COLOR.

 

EXCEPTIONS ON RETURNS 

•    Items with custom embroidery are NOT returnable. Please check that you have ordered correct size, style and color. 

•    Items that have been worn, used or altered may NOT be returned or exchanged.

•    Blank items will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

 

EXCHANGES

All defective items can only be exchanged; they must first be returned to receive replacement.
